Worlds Fastest Indian
The life and triumph of Burt Munro, the elderly Kiwi man who, at the far from spritely age of 68, broke motorcycle racing records in Utah, has fueled director Roger Donaldson's creative energy for years. In the early 1970s, just a few years after Munro's incredible triumph, Donaldson directed OFFERINGS TO THE GOD OF SPEED, a documentary on the sensational senior. Here, with the help of the fine actors Anthony Hopkins and Diane Ladd, the director brings the story to vivid, dramatic life yet again, constructing a gripping and inspirational narrative.
End of the Spear
Mincayani is born into the most violent society ever documented by anthropologists, the Waodani in the eastern rainforest of Ecuador. As he grows he learns what every Waodani understands, he must spear and live or be speared and die. Mincayani's world changes when he and his family kill five missionaries, Nate Saint, Jim Elliot, Ed McCully, Pete Fleming and Roger Youderian. This incident propels Mincayani's family group down an extraordinary path that culminates in them not only departing from violence, but also caring for the enemy tribe they had once violently raided.
Pink Panther
Reviving the Blake Edwards, Peter Sellers comedy series The Pink Panther Steve Martin returns to his slapstick physical-comedy roots. He reinvents the character of Inspector Clouseau, the hapless, bungling detective with the overwrought French accent and metaphorically huge head. With his black beret and Pepe LaPew moustache, the policeman is called on to solve a high-profile crime, making a series of hilariously clumsy missteps along the way.
KIss Kiss Bang Bang
Harry Lockhart is basically a decent guy. Sure, he's a petty thief who skates through life on a shaky cocktail of dog-eared charm and cockeyed optimism, but he wants to do the right thing. He just doesn't know how, exactly.
Harry's perpetual bad luck takes a turn for the better when he and his partner are doing some after-hours Christmas "shopping" at a New York City toy store and the security alarm breaks up the party. In making his frantic getaway from the cops, Harry inadvertently stumbles into an audition for a Hollywood detective movie, and faster than you can say Jack Robinson, the producer flies him to Los Angeles for a screen test.
A Good Woman
Helen Hunt and Scarlett Johansson fight over the same rich young man in this sumptuously elegant and loose adaptation of Oscar Wilde's LADY WINDERMERE'S FAN. The setting for the action is moved from Victorian England's parlors to Italy's gorgeous Amalfi coast in the early 1930's. A vacationing American couple, the Windermeres, meet scandal when caught up in a web of expatriate British slander after Mr. Windermere apparently starts having an affair with the notorious gold-digger, Mrs. Erlynne. Meanwhile, the debauched Lord Darlington takes it upon himself to comfort the tearful and lovely Mrs. Windermere, and Tuppy, an older member of the British circle, sees there's a sweet woman being hurt by all the malicious gossip and falls for Mrs. Erlynne himself.
Tristan + Isolde
After the fall of Rome, the warlords of England are brutally kept in line by the forces of Irish King Donnchadh. One of these leaders, Lord Marke seeks to unite the English tribes to form one strong nation to rule itself. His greatest knight is Tristan, whom Marke raised since he was orphaned in an Irish attack that also took Marke's family. With Tristan by his side, Marke believes he can unify his people and rid England of Irish rule. But Tristan harbors a terrible secret…

Worlds Fastest Indian--
An inspiring story of a man’s journey modifying an Indian motorcycle so it would run at speeds 5 times greater than the manufacturer ever planed on and with no other income than his retirement and of coarse a bad heart, Bert sets out from New Zealand to the Utah to make his dream come true. It’s a great story and very entertaining movie that I highly recommend. I give it two remotes up! (Plus, I can't think of any other reason to go to Utah)
KIss Kiss Bang Bang
A twisted look at thieves, private detectives, murder, and some good twists that make this thriller a little on the funny side. I mean who knows, one day you’re a petty thief, the next you’re a….. Producer?
