SYRIANA

Gaghan gives SYRIANA a documentary-like feel, using handheld cameras and shooting on location, adding to the believability of the complex plot. To heighten the realism, Clooney learned to speak Arabic and even put on thirty pounds for the role. A fast-paced, heart-pounding, relentless film, SYRIANA was inspired by the true story of former CIA agent Robert Baer, told in his book SEE NO EVIL: THE TRUE STORY OF A GROUND SOLDIER IN THE CIA'S WAR ON TERRORISM.

La LLorona
On their way to Mexico, six students are stranded in a small town where years before a tragedy took place. The students find accommodation in a small cabin where unexplainable things begin to happen; a woman’s weeping is heard all around the cabin and their fear of the horror they might find outside keeps them trapped in the cabin. They will soon learn the truth behind the legend of "La Llorona".

In the annals of modern fear, few films have had as deep an impact as Wes Craven's 1977 cult classic THE HILLS HAVE EYES. It all begins with a typically dysfunctional cross-country family road trip. It's the wedding anniversary of rugged Cleveland police detective "Big Bob" Carter and his chatty wife Ethel and to celebrate, Bob's asked his extended family to cruise to California with them, hoping the joys of the open road might help fuse their frayed connections.


Eight Below
Inspired by a true story and the hit Japanese film NANKYOKU MONOGATARI, Frank Marshall’s EIGHT BELOW captures a rugged world of ice, snow, and threatening weather that few will ever experience in person. As a guide for a National Science Foundation Research Base in Antarctica, Jerry Shepard is perfectly content to spend his time exploring the wilderness with his sled dogs and goofing around with his best buddy, cartographer Charlie Cooper. Then UCLA geologist Davis McLaren arrives at the camp with plans for a risky expedition: treacherous ice fields make his target destination accessible only by dog sled so late in the season. Soon Shepard, McLaren and the sled dogs are on their way in search of McLaren’s prize: a meteorite from Mercury. Unfortunately a storm forces them to return early and abandon camp but there is only enough room on the rescue plane for the people, not the dogs so they must make a trip back to save them.
